Course Description

This PhD forum will invite active scholars and researchers in the IS and related fields to share their research studies and/or their publications experiences, with the goal of exposing students to state-of-the-art research issues. Each talk will last for about 90 minutes, followed by a 20-minute discussion session.

Requirements

Each student is required to

• attend all talks. Missed classes will only be excused in the event of illness, major emergency, or other legitimate reasons. In any case, you need to let the instructors and TA know in advance. At most 2 missed classes are allowed in the semester.
• never be late for classes and leave earlier. This is how we show our respect and courtesy to the invited speakers.
• actively participate in discussion sessions.
• write a proposal & presentation

Attendance 40%, Participation in Discussions 20%, Written Reports 40%
